US Open 2021: Emma Raducanou wins women singles

Saturday (11-09-2021) was the great day for her. Emma beat Canadian teen Leylah Fernandez 6-4, 6-3 to win her first grand slam title.

But sometimes a special player comes along and makes the meeting unimportant. Three and a half weeks after the shocking loss of his memory, Raducanu branded himself the greatest slam ever. He finished the US Open where he started: dominating fearlessly within the foundation as he defeated Leylah Annie Fernandez 6-4, 6-3 in a very high-profile match to win the title without losing a set.

This is just the look of Raducanu's second large painting and not a single woman in the open era has ever won in so few attempts. And that divides the list of seemingly endless records: Raducanu is the first British woman to win a major slam title since Victoria Wade won Wimbledon in 1977. You are the first to qualify, male or female, to win the grand slam title. At the age of 18, she is the youngest slam champion since Maria Sharapova in 2004.

Since the start of the first slam final among teenagers at the age of 22, both players have refused to be involved at the time. In all the first sets they clashed on a base from each other, defending with high movement and completing all the games with great force. Raducanu started the game by controlling the first exchange by constantly changing direction from both wings, and set the tone by snatching the winner’s backhand of the court that cut the opening game.
