When Dhoni was the captain india has won the three major trophies - T20 world cup 2007, World cup 2011, Champions Trophy 2013.
Dhoni's choice as a mentor is being considered as a great choice by the fans. BCCI has chosen him because he is an active player. He is playing IPL which means he is in very touch with the game.
