A lawsuit was filed against the makers of the Kapil Sharma Show in Shivpuri district court, Madhya Pradesh, according to Social TV. The complaint was filed in a single episode in which the actors were shown drinking alcohol while performing in a courtroom. The plaintiff reportedly suspected that the actors were disrespecting the court.
India Today quoted the lawyer who registered the complaint as saying, "The Kapil Sharma Show show on Sony TV is vulgar. They also make obscene remarks about women. under Section 356/3 in court. Such reckless suspension must be stopped. "
